KAIZEN AT PLES V INTRU 2026: A Night of Japanese Elegance in Brno

At this year’s Ples v Intru, held in the iconic Hotel International Brno on 28 February, Kaizen had the honour of representing Japanese gastronomy at an event defined by elegance, tradition, culture, and celebration.

As the only sushi restaurant in Brno invited to participate, we stepped into the ballroom with deep gratitude—and a sense of responsibility ensuring a seamless back-of-house service. Our team prepared a selection of hand‑rolled maki, delicate nigiri, and signature Japanese bites that showcased Edomae sushi.

Our highlight and pride was working alongside the Goodwill Ambassador of Japanese Cuisine for CZ, Marek Hora,  whose presence underscored the cultural significance of the night. Sharing our work with him was not only an honor, but a milestone for our team and for Japanese cuisine in Brno.

A Taste of Tokyo in the Heart of Brno – Throughout the evening, guests stopped by our station between dances, curious to experience authentic Japanese flavors prepared with traditional techniques. With precision  of each cut, we aimed to bring a piece of Tokyo’s culinary spirit to the ballroom.

To everyone who visited us at the ball: thank you for your warmth, curiosity, and enthusiasm.
And for those who missed the event, our doors in Brno are open from Wednesday to Saturday. The same award‑winning quality awaits you at our restaurant, crafted with care every day.
